Escaping the high-flying world of ad agencies, Matt Clark founded AdGumbo
in 2006. Providing quick, dependable, on-brand creative—Matt became a popular
support resource for corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies.


Matt has completed countless creative projects for a who’s who of corporate
clientele. He has photographed over 150 weddings and taken more than 5,000
head shots. Matt has won numerous American Advertising Awards and
Couple’s Choice Awards.


In 2021, Matt created the beautiful short film “SIXTY-FIVE DAYS” and in 2022,
with his wife, he wrote “Rivers to Cross and Hills to Climb” a captivating novelette.

My film "SIXTY-FIVE DAYS" made it to the final round of judging before being
eliminated from the Atlanta Film Festival. "Thank you so much for submitting "SIXTY-FIVE DAYS"
to the 2022 Atlanta Film Festival. We truly appreciate all the time and energy that went into making
this project come to life and are incredibly grateful that you and your team chose to submit to us. This
year we received over 7,700 film submissions. Your film was watched and carefully considered by our
team of dedicated screeners. Many members of our screening committee reached out to us throughout
the process to tell us how your film impressed and touched them." This is a big deal for me.


Honored with 19 American Advertising Awards Including Best of Bay and Regional Gold.


Successfully photographed more than 1,300 headshots over a 2-day conference
for the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International.


Designed holiday packaging for Cointreau liqueur with accompanying point of purchase display
and 32-page wine and spirits catalog for Florida. Subsequently, my creative was produced nationally.


Photographed over 150 weddings, more than 5,000 headshots and nearly 10,000 people
have visited Impersonation Station—a unique take on the classic photo booth.


Completed a 365 day flower and nature photography undertaking that led to a two-page
spread in the international publication Birds & Blooms, multiple televised spots on Bay News 9,
over 4,000 likes on Facebook and a website that received over 15,000 hits per day.


My film "From the Heart" won Gold in The Jim Harbin Student Media Festival.


My film "Divine Amity" won Best of Show in The Jim Harbin Student Media Festival.


My horror film "Project Three" sold out the student theater at Polk State College.


Auritas: Collaborated with national marketing director to re-brand the
company and develop a full suite of marketing collateral. Including
company logo and messaging, product logos and messaging, company
identity package, staffing division identity package, 32 pages of
marketing collateral and brand guidelines.


Hillsborough Community College: Worked closely with the board of directors
and various committees on re-branding academic programs; emphasized
brand continuity across various media such as cutting-edge graphics,
informational literature, and web content. Created two yearly 64-page
magazine outlining each career field. Photography assignments
included live sports action, campus lifestyle. Developed event collateral,
outdoor boards, and ad campaigns. Client for six years


Circle K FL: Partnered with the regional marketing director to design in-store
collateral, magazine ads, outdoor boards, photography (product and lifestyle),
and training videos for a region of over 400 stores. Client for five years.


The Sembler Company: Created trade show graphics and collateral for
five ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) annual conventions. Developed

and produced quarterly newsletters, booklets, magazine ads, infographics, web and
email graphics, and commercial photography throughout Florida. Client for seven years.


Rémy Cointreau: Successfully translated sparse direction into concrete designs
for magazine ads, outdoor boards, packaging, point of purchase, and event collateral
for 18 brands of cognacs, liqueurs, wines, and spirits in three sales markets across
the SE, SW and NW United States. Client for four years.

Design and photography for use in branding, advertising, print design, website design,
social media content, trade show displays, point of purchase, banners, catalogs, magazines,
booklets, logos, outdoor boards, packaging, brochures, magazine ads, and annual reports.


I proudly use Macintosh computers, Adobe Creative Cloud,
Canon cameras, Canon L Series lenses, and Alien Bee studio lighting.

This beautiful short film set to John Orr‘s rendition of "Muzzle" by Smashing Pumpkins
 is a healing-via-art piece that traverses the vulnerable spectrum of hopeless to hopeful that
I experienced as I drifted through sixty-five days, fearing the loss of my soul mate.
